Alex Stein is a comedian and YouTuber based in Dallas, Texas. He has appeared as a freeloader on every season of Fishtank. He is known for political comedy, often confronting politicians in person or disrupting official meetings. He hosts the show Prime Time with Alex Stein.

On day 33 of Season 1 Alex entered the house alongside Dontarius, a homeless black man described as his "wife's boyfriend." Dontarius and Alex were ejected from the house after Dontarius allegedly smoked crack cocaine in bedroom 2.
Alex referred Duan'ye to the show, he entered on day 12 of Season 2 and stayed until day 36. Alex himself entered the tank on day 32 and filmed episode 140 of his talk-show Prime Time with Alex Stein.
In Vampire Bloodgames Alex briefly appeared as a NPC called Wild Randy. This character is a gunslinger and the subject of many folk songs that rang out through the Schitty.
During Season 3, Alex entered on Day 30 during the Famous House 2.0 arc where he played the role of Alex Diamond, the executive producer of Famous House. He yelled at the stars to be more entertaining and hosted challenges such as a hot dog eating contest and a talent show. On Day 32, Alex left the house to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family, but later temprorarily returned on Day 40 during the "Act 4" arc.
