Frank's announcement as part of the Season 2 cast would have made him the first African-American contestant in the history of Fishtank. However he was replaced with Brian the day the season began. Frank claimed on Twitter in a now-deleted video that this was because he was friends with the ex-boyfriend of a woman who was involved with casting. Although he did not name names, it has been speculated by viewers that this woman was Letty.
