JC Chiang is a contestant who appeared on season 2 of Fishtank. She finished in 9th place.

Official Description[]

Meet JC, a vibrant and multifaceted contender hailing from an eclectic background that spans the lush landscapes of Taiwan to the rugged beauty of Canada, and now rooted in the evergreen embrace of Oregon. JC enters the house with a suitcase filled not only with essentials but with an aura of mystery and a mind sharpened by the pages of fantasy and romance novels. Their passion for these genres teases a depth of imagination and emotion, offering fellow housemates a glimpse into myriad worlds where every conversation can become an adventure.

But do not be swayed by JC's love for whimsical tales alone; their fascination with the human psyche is underscored by a diligent pursuit of psychology and criminology literature. This unique blend of interests suggests a competitor who is as adept at navigating the labyrinth of the mind as they are at untangling the complexities of the heart. Amidst the strategizing and alliances, JC's insight could prove to be their greatest ally—or a formidable tool in deciphering the motivations that simmer beneath the surface of their housemates' camaraderie.

An aficionado of life's simple pleasures, JC's affinity for Dumdum suckers or lollipops stands as a sweet contrast to their intellectual leanings. Perhaps it is this balance between earnest study and childlike joy that will endear them to the others, or maybe it will be the very thing that keeps them a puzzle too intriguing to ignore. As the weeks unfold in this crucible of social dynamics, will JC's multifaceted personality and strategic acumen lead them to emerge as the Fishtank's linchpin, or will the isolation reveal layers even they have yet to discover? One thing is certain, the house is in for an unforgettable six weeks with JC as one of its keystones.

Overview[]

JC made an early connection with Trisha. She made several unusual statements about Fishtank as a show, and thought that Brian was a contestant on season 1, denying that she had a crush on him. During day 4/early into day 5, it was revealed that JC had been stealing other player's chips as part of a "secret spy" role that she had been placed into. This led to an explosive confrontation after midnight on day 5, eventually culminating in the reveal that JC and Shinji were the only non-MDE fans in the house. Later that day, JC said that she was leaving the house and gave up the stolen chips. On Instagram, she also explained that the Gator Squat challenge between Cole and Brian scared/intimidated her, and she left because she wanted to help Cole and ensure he was not eliminated in the aforementioned challenge.

Trivia[]

At 18 years old during the time of season 2, JC is the youngest person to appear on Fishtank; she was legally unable to drink or smoke despite the presence of a bar in the house.
